About role:

This is an exciting 6-month internship opportunity at Airbus India, focused on aircraft data analysis and Artificial Intelligence. The intern will contribute to developing innovative tools and models for aviation data processing.

Mission for this internship:

• Develop a model capable of understanding test requirements and automatically generating test procedures.
• Create code to automate these tests with high accuracy.

By the end of this internship, the deliverables include:

• A user interface where technical input documents are uploaded and corresponding test procedures and code are provided in a structured query output format.

Interns will gain significant exposure to advanced AI techniques, aviation data, and software development in a dynamic, international work environment. This role offers an opportunity to apply data science and machine learning in practical aerospace applications, contributing directly to technological innovations at Airbus.

Key Technical Skills:

Python, Machine Learning libraries, RAG models, Generative AI, Open/Closed LLM models, Statistical principles, Mathematical modeling

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries.
• Experience in developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Generative AI (GEN AI) models and pipelines.
• Understanding of working with open and closed Large Language Models (LLMs) for development purposes.
• A data-driven mindset and a strong passion for aviation.
• Solid understanding of statistical principles and mathematical modeling.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Interest in aviation data and generative AI applications.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and awareness of compliance risks.
